In this lesson, we learnt how to style the HTML web page. We used Cascading Style Sheet (CSS) to do this. Mr Cheong recommend us to view this youtube video on introduction to CSS to supplement what Mr Cheong has taught us. We also noted the difference between the internal and external styling method. In this course, we focused on using external style sheet.

In this lesson, we got to know the backbone behind the website. In other words, we learnt to build a very simple web page using Hypertext Markup Language (HTML).We also watched this youtube video on "Learn HTML in 10 minutes" to supplement whatMr Cheong had taught us in today's lesson.Before this lesson I never really knew what HTML really was but it became clear after the lesson.

In this lesson, we discussed a few things-
1) the social impact of new media technologies
AND
2) ethical issues on media usage and intellectual property
3) the differences between a blog and a website.
We got to voice our opinions in a few of these discussions by penning down our opinions and responses in the FORUM Mr Cheong created.

In today's lesson got a basic understanding of the Internet, its brief history, web publishing ,FTP, and other web terminology.Mr Cheong also introduced to us what Web 2.0 technologies were and he gave us an assignment to create a blog.In this lesson I learnt many new things.For example, that websites can be classified into WEB1.0 and WEB 2.0!
